The Golden State State Administration is a Democrat-controlled entity with a long history of innovation. Voters in the state are advocated for by a competing legislative branch, which includes the Assembly and the Lower Chamber. The governor, currently the incumbent, oversees the executive branch and is responsible for implementing state policy.
